How to create a Bitnob account

Quick overview — what to expect when you log in

Creating a Bitnob account is quick and straightforward. Here's what you need to know:

  1. You enter your email and password.
  2. If enabled, you complete a second step (2FA) — usually an authenticator code or SMS.
  3. Bitnob checks device and location signals. If anything looks unusual, you may be asked for extra verification (email code, biometric, or support verification).
  4. Once signed in, your session stays active until you log out, or until it times out for security reasons.

Step-by-step: set up strong authentication

Follow these steps to create your Bitnob Business account:

1. Visit the signup page

Go to business.bitnob.com/signup and click "Create Account".

2. Enter your details

Provide your email address, create a strong password, and agree to the terms of service.

3. Verify your email

Check your inbox for a verification email from Bitnob and click the verification link.

4. Complete your profile

Add your business information, including business name, address, and contact details.

Managing your sessions

Bitnob keeps your account secure by managing active sessions:

  • Automatic timeout: Sessions expire after a period of inactivity for security.
  • Multiple devices: You can be logged in on multiple devices, but suspicious activity may require re-authentication.
  • Sign out: Always sign out when using shared or public computers.

Setting up 2FA

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account:

  1. Go to Settings > Security in your Bitnob dashboard
  2. Select "Enable Two-Factor Authentication"
  3. Choose your preferred method: Authenticator App or SMS
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete setup
  5. Save your backup codes in a secure location

Tip: We strongly recommend using an authenticator app like Google Authenticator or Authy for better security.
